Perpetual Progress is currently looking for full-time and experienced IT consultants to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong communication, critical thinking, and independent problem solving skills.

Job Qualifications/Skills
Expert knowledge of Windows desktop Operating Systems
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365
Experience with application support, namely Microsoft Office
Experience with device monitoring and remote management tools
Basic knowledge of IP networking, routers, and managed switch configurations as well as DNS, DHCP, and VPN
Experience with RDP and redirected printing in virtual environments
Knowledge of VMware is a plus
Responsibilities
Set-up, service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment remotely and onsite
Install enhancements, test, and calibrate to meet our customers’ specific needs
Telephone and on-site support of physical and virtual desktops
Troubleshooting, setup, and configuration of our growing network of desktop computers, laptops, and other peripherals (printers, wireless routers, etc.)
Prioritizing and managing new and on-going projects for a variety of clients
Requirements for Consideration
At least 5 years of experience in IT field
Must have reliable transportation
Must have professional appearance
Must be available to occasionally work weekends and nights
Must be able to work independently and be flexible regarding frequent changes in schedule
Excellent customer relations skills including the ability to explain and train
Excellent written and verbal skills are a must (hint – write a cover letter explaining your qualifications)
Education
College education is strongly preferred (does not have to be in the IT field)
Certifications are a plus: MCSE, Security+, CCNA/CCNP, LPIC, VCP
